They tell me there are some resident Fairy Penguins that live here and if you are there when the Ranger arrives at dusk you can go through the gate out onto the pier to check the out

The is a famous run/walk track (only about 2.5km circuit around the Royal Botanical Gardens. Next to the War Memorial. Lots of cafes around in the gardens or along Domain Rd just next to it
