Ashtown visitor centre is a great spot for families. The cafe has a good selection of coffees and food. It has a quiet courtyard on the old grounds with an adjacent modern playground for the kids.

Used for state visits Farmleigh House is a great spot for Heritage tours and picnicking on the Estate grounds. In the summer months the farmers markets are a huge attraction.

The Ark is a unique, purpose-built cultural centre in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar. Children aged 2 -12 can explore theatre, music, literature, art, film & dance. Our daughter Maya (5) loved it.
