Great all round resurant, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. CHeck opeing hours in wnter though! Great atomosphere, yummy food, menu changes regularly. Go for a coffee, or for full meal. Always good.

20 mins drive from Tairua, take a spade and dig a pool to sit in on the beach, its hot! Must go around low tide. Absolutely incredible experience, sitting in hot water, on the beach with the cold water from the sea lapping into your 'spa pool'. :)

STUNNINGLY beautiful. 40 minute walk from the carpark in Hahei (Hahei is a 25 min drive from Tairua). Extremely popular, this needs to be done around low tide. Advisable to plan to go earlier in the day if tides are suitable, because carpark gets full with a 30-40 min wait for parks. Buses will go from Tairua but you have to book in advance.

One of the best views in the Coromandel Peninsula! Highly recommend a sunset walk to the top. 360 degree views of Tairua, Pauanui, the mountains and up & down the coast. Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful natural thermal pools for age 15 and over. Total relaxation, cocktails and food by the pool(s), quiet, intimate surroundings, highly recommend!
