Tours are free. To get tours of the inside of Parliament you must get to the ticket office early. The ticket office is across the street at O'Connor and Wellington St.

A beautiful 10-15 min walk from The Charlotte. One of our favorite walks in Ottawa, as well as the best place to catch the sunset behind the Gatineau Hills over the Ottawa River.
Seldom visited by tourist, it's a great spot to unwind.

The Governor General's residence. The grounds are huge and beautiful. The mansion itself has a free tour that's worth taking if you have more than a day in Ottawa.
The grounds are especially gorgeous in the Fall.
