Ed's a Twain Harte staple. This is your classic dive bar. Depending on the night, you may walk in to a group of locals or a really fun wild day or night. Open all year round it hosts your stiff, cheap drinks, smoking allowed inside, and an eclectic group of folks; from locals, bikers, tourists looking for local flavor. You never know, you may end up dancing on the bar, literally! Enter at your own risk, but it can be one fun time. If you're here for any local events or during the summer for the free concerts in Eproson Park, you're probably going to end up dancing on the bar.

Open for lunch & dinner. The main restaurant offers a quaint mountain ambiance. Menu ranges from appetizers, salads, pasta, seafood, steak & baked potato + Nightly Specials. The staff have been there forever. You will not be rushed, so sit back and enjoy a nice mountain dining experience.
The full bar is adjacent and attached to the main restaurant. On most nights you'll find locals at the bar, tourists looking for fun with local bands and DJ's on the weekends. During the spring, summer and early autumn outdoor seating is available around the fire pit out back off the bar. It's really a fun place to hang out and enjoy music from the juke box, or music from our local musicians.

What can I say other than the Steamed Donkey is an iconic Pinecrest Lake restaurant. During the summer the back outdoor bar area is hopping with summer lake-goers. This place has always provided a fun time in the small bar where you can talk to everyone around you. The small dining room requires reservations, and is known for their lamb & steak.

I love Pinecrest Lake ~ Rent motor boats, Pontoon Boats! (Jr. Size or Sr. Size), kayaks, paddle boats, or, just relax on the beach, fish off the rocks, hike the entire lake, and people watch! It's a fabulous and gorgeous spot off of HWY 108 for the whole family! The Steamed Donkey Restaurant is a great place to grab some drinks during the summer while enjoying their back outdoor patio, or for dinner (be sure to make reservations, it's small and gets crowded fast). You will not be disappointed once you drive down into this pristine lake community!

This is a stunning, remote lake that is a lovely drive up HWY 108 past Strawberry. You must bring your own boat or watercraft if you wish to be on the water; however, there is a boat launch site. Bring a picnic and sit on the beach, or hike the dam. Gorgeous views and the freshest air. Great place to spend the day. Be sure to check road conditions, if we've had a bad winter the roads may be closed into the summer. We can probably get you the correct info.
