Several beautiful and serene miles long hiking trails. A lodge built in the 1930's with a great and reasonably priced restaurant and an ice cream shop on the other end. A tour guided boat ride on the Wakulla river with alligators, manatees, birds, turtles, all sorts of wildlife. Swimming in the river, one of my guests had two manatees swim right up to him and play with him for 1/2 an hour!

One mile serene shaded hike/bike ride through the woods on a flat, wide sand road. The sink itself is stunning, great for picnics and swimming as the water temperature is approximately 70 degrees year round. One of my favorite places and not many people know about this gem.

Very dog friendly, great hiking for miles, no buildings, just nature on the beach. No parking fees. Stop at Angelo's Restaurant for surf and turf on your way out!

Very nice drive to get here, gazebos and picnic tables are available to eat while you watch the best Florida sunsets. No parking fees.

Thousands of acres to roam around, really cool lighthouse at the very end, boat launches, countless hiking/biking trails and a few observatory decks. Great place to spend the day and have a nice picnic.

Beautiful State Park with an awesome full hook up campground and boat launch. Kayak and canoe rentals are available. So many long trails to hike/bike and an area on the river for swimming.
