Suraya is new, beautiful, delicious and offers Levant cuisine. It was also rated top 50 best new restaurants in Bon Appetite 2018. It's one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood.

We lived in NYC for 15 years before we moved to Philly and these are by far the best bagels I've ever had. They are open Thurs- Monday until 2 pm but often sell out before that so if your set on eating an amazing bagel, go before 11. (they are also top rated by Bon Appetite.

This is actually where William Penn signed the Penn Treaty. It's a lovely park with a great new playground right on the Delaware river. Its only a 5 minute walk from the house but go prepared as there are no bathrooms or water.
