Beautiful beach that you can walk for miles when the tide is out. Lots of picnic spots and sandy beaches. Also shaded wooded trails for walking or biking through the forest. Great day trip!

The Waterfront is a must-see! Beautiful ocean and neighbouring island views. You can walk downtown all the way to Departure Bay ferry terminal and pass parks, playgrounds, marinas, yacht clubs, kayakers, sailors, boaters and seaplanes along the way!
Plenty of restaurants, specialty shops and coffee & ice cream stops along the way, as well!
