It is a great place to check out and a large area to roam and see Downtown, Barton Springs Pool, the Sculpture Garden. Hike and Bike trail too!

Butler Park in walking distance down the hill (Bouldin or Dawson streets) towards Barton Springs. It has a nice grassy area and trees, and a new family park, and a skyline view of city on top of spiral hill. you can cross the street to Lady Bird Lake
