My favourite bakery. It's very old and they make beautiful bread and sweets. The owner is this sweet old lady who just doesn't retire because she loves her shop! - not open on weekends.

Old fortress on an island near Helsinki. Great place to go with a ferry on a sunny day. Gather a piknik and go find a quiet place in the island. On a really sunny day you can swim there.

If you like nature and saunas, Kuusijärvi has a great "smokesauna". It's a classical finnish sauna. The place is in a nature park and there's a nice lake to cool yourself after sauna. This place is in Vantaa - a city next to Helsinki. It takes about 40 minutes to get there by bus 739 from Sörnäinen.

The best summerplace in Helsinki and a great place to meet people. It's also next to the Helsinki Zoo, therefore you can sometimes hear the lions roar from the near by island.
