Great gourmet woodfired pizzas and perfect for a glass of wine. Don't go if you are in a hurry and don't expect much from the service but the pizzas make up for it!! They also do take away. Check their website for opening hours.

Fantastic locally grown and roasted coffee, gluten free and vegan options. Everything is super simple and super fresh, who knew avo on toast could taste SO good and look so impressive!

Only opening in the evenings this place is inside the Mullum bowling club. The atmosphere is a little like an RSL but the food is sensational. We love this place for take out and is probably the closest to our place, just take Myocum road to Mullumbimby. Beef Massamam curry and Tom Yum soup are some of our fav's.

With a Michelan Hat this place is insane. Check out the reviews online! This place is often booked out months in advance but you can always try calling them to see if they have had a cancellation, it DOES happen.

BEST breakfast in the Shire. Their breakfast menu is great, it still has your good ol' fashioned eggs and toast but when you are sick of that, this is the place you want to come! Super busy on weekends and over Christmas. This place is a firm locals favourite!

With a focus on locally sourced and orgnaic produce this place will not disappoint. Great for coffee, fresh takeaway salads, delicious sausage roll and some sweet treats if you need some! Not much seating so best to get take away and picnic by the river.

This pub has a kids section for the kids to run around and be sure to check out the gig guide to see who is playing!
So this place doesn't have the greatest coffee OR food BUT is does have 32 beers on tap and is a beautiful place to visit! It has a big playground for kids and you can walk around the farm to see all the animals all whilst getting your coffee fix. The Three Blue Ducks restaurant manage all the food at The Farm with the Bread Social managing the bakery. You can take away, eat in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner some nights however the wait is often lengthy for a table especially during school holidays. You can book online for dinner. Your best bet is to grab some take out bring a picnic rug and sit on the acres of green grass!

We love the vibe here and Miss Margs is great if you need to get kids fed early - they open at 5. There is often a wait to get seated and they don't take bookings but the line moves pretty fast and you can have a cocktail while you wait. Win Win!

Looking for the best pub food, this place rocks their food and the vibe is all local. Gets loud later in the night and the kitchen closes around 8ish. Try our local handcrafted beer that is no longer a well kept secret - Stone and Wood on tap.

Park at the The Pass and follow the walking trail from the bottom of the carpark, through Wategos and up to the lighthouse. One of our favourite walks. Doable with kids, you may have to give them a little carry at points, see dolphins, whales, surfers and stunning beaches. Stop for a dip at Wategos or head back to The Pass (great for kids).
