Fast-, Cheap-, Delicious-,Hungarian Meals with a great atmosphere in the downtown.
In the 20-years-old tiny restaurant you will find an unbelievable variety of old traditional Hungarian dishes. Everything is prepared traditionally, from excellent ingredients, based on old recipes, with manual labour and without preservatives, additives that are used so frequently in our times. And all this at a very reasonable price! If you enter the premises, you will immediately be fascinated by the unique atmosphere. Everything reminds us of granny’s kitchen: the red-checked table clothes or the old kitchen utensils exhibited in the glass-cases on the walls. Not to mention the taste of the meals! Really, as if we were at granny’s home!

Kandalló Artisanal Pub (twice "Best Pub in Budapest" Award Winner) "We’ve been dreaming about opening a place since Ted Mosby (Architect) first said to Barney: „We should totally buy a bar!” As spending half of our life sitting in our favorite pubs, opening our own seemed like being the obvious step. Kandalló is a place where people can hang out with their friends like they were at home. We just do the shopping for them. And we are going for the good stuff. Simply because we love fresh beer, tomato which actually tastes like tomato, and we do buy the best meat for our friends, when they show up for dinner at our house. Make yourselves at home, The Staff"
