One of swedens best museums of contemporary art. A must visit for anyone interested in international artistic photography. Many travelling exhibitions from all over the world are shown here.

Beautiful, old cinema right around the corner. Shows both international (undubbed) and swedish films. The last place swedish prime minister Olof Palme visited before he was killed in 1986.

Great restaurant just around the corner from the apartment. A bit on the expensive side, but run by one of swedens star chefs. Great, quirky atmosphere, and a great menu. Mostly grilled meat dishes.

Mid-range restaurant focusing on japanese food, with a separate menu for vegans and vegetarians, making it ideal for groups. Their Gyoza are to die for, sushi not so much. Great stews and casseroles.

Great mexican food, mid range prices. Spicy, fresh and rather genuine, offer a range of own made and imported beverages. Has separate vegetarian menu, ask for vegan food and they'll help you.

Cute and spacious café in Gamla Stan (Old Town), with sandwiches, sallads and pastries. Mid-range prices, but good quality. One of my favorite spots to just sit around and chill for a whole afternoon.

A Wayne's Coffee is always a Wayne's Coffee. OK prices, excellent chai latte (only place I've found where you can reliably get a vegan latte in Stockholm) and great coffee-to-go. Not much to eat here.

This 19th century-style bar is also a restaurant, with good food, but the bar is the best part and what's worth a visit. A bit on the expensive side, but with great absinthe drinks in paris style bar.

Cheap, cosy bar. If you're looking for some genuine swedish ölning (beerdrinking) this is the place to go. LGBT friendly, good prices, also has affordable food. Not a fancy place, but very swedish.

Bar with decent prices, within walking distance from the apartment. Irish/Scottish/British theme, a good place for beer. Also there is a pool table downstairs, and the bartenders are really friendly.

Despite the name (Olssons shoes) this is a small, cozy bar just around the corner from the apartment. There is no cost of admittance, which is always a bonus. Urban design, and hosts a lot of clubs.

Sightseeing
Observatory Hill. From here you get a view of most of inner city Stockholm, plus it's a beautiful park and a museum of astronomy. In the summer, a cute café is situated here.

Best supermarket in inner city Stockholm. Five minutes walk from the apartment, this is where you want to buy groceries, drinks, fresh produce, bread or basically anything else to eat. Affordable.

Remember, you can't buy alcohol outside of the Systembolaget in Sweden. This one is basically just across the road from the apartment.. Just remember it closes early, and doesn't open on sundays.
