The Waterfront has everything! Good restaurants, movies, the Two Oceans Aquarium, helicopter flights over Cape Town, boat trips and great shopping. There's a really nice market where you can buy unique gifts as well as a food market. There is also a comedy club where you can be entertained by local comedians while enjoying a meal and a drink.

There's a really nice market where you can buy unique gifts as well as a food market. There is also a comedy club where you can be entertained by local comedians while enjoying a meal and a drink.

Although not really the southern tip of Africa (That's actually Agulhas) it certainly feels like you're at the southern tip! A rugged and beautiful landscape, with pristine beaches, remote hiking trails and a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and Atlantic meeting at the point.

This beautiful garden in the middle of the city centre, offers a tranquil break from the bustle of the city. Vendors will sell you a bag of peanuts to feed to the very tame squirrels who live in the old, majestic trees. They will happilly eat from your hand . So will the pigeons!

There are free tours of Bo Kaap every day. They depart from St Georges Mall where you'll see a guide with a red umbrella waiting to lead you through the colourful streets. Visit the spice shops, sample delicious, authentic Malay food and walk through this beautiful part of the city. If you go to the top of the hill at noon, you can watch the firing of the noon gun.
