I love the old charm and that it feels like it has been there for hundreds of years. Usually a long line up to eat there and no reservations taken.
Only go if you like to eat meat.

The old tram workshop converted into an indoor restaurant market with bars, a cinema, and other random stuff. Definitely worth a visit!

Amsterdam is beautiful from the water. You can get on one of the organized boat tours that leave from close to Central Station. Another option would be to rent your own boat. This is especially nice in summer. We have good experiences with this company. Another company we have used is mokumboat.

Voted one of the best 5 whisky bars in the world!
I think they have over 500 varieties to try from. Definitely super gezellige atmosphere, with staff who can give you help with what to choose.
