This is showing the old style of Szamos Cafes. Very nice inside and outside. The cakes and Cafe Budapest are amazing. You can't go home without trying this... :-)

Hungarian cuisine with real tastes of Hungary. This is a normal/low priced place, usually fully booked, but usually they can give a table in 15 mins even if you are not booking a table. Some nights they have live music too. Food is amazing.

In this remarkable Vigado building, there is a restaurant called Vig Varju. Try it out for a real quality, Hungarian cousine. Prices are amazing... Usually there is live music too...

You can find hundreds of bars and restaurants from cheap to more exclusive. Great choice any time of the year. The backside entrance is from our street, which is about 10 minutes walk from our apartment.

This building is spectacular. a big wow... you can buy tickets to go inside too... must see. You can reach it from our apartment by walking to the electronic bus stop bus 70 or 78 (Kiraly utca/ Erzsebet utca) then get off the end ( Kossuth Lajos Ter).

1-3 Kossuth Lajos térThis building is spectacular. a big wow... you can buy tickets to go inside too... must see. You can reach it from our apartment by walking to the electronic bus stop bus 70 or 78 (Kiraly utca/ Erzsebet utca) then get off the end ( Kossuth Lajos Ter).
You can get there by bus 16 from Deak Square/ Deak Ter. The Castle is a remarkable spot of Budapest. There are many museums in the area if weather would be too cold or too hot.

This park is still in the centre of Budapest. In wintertime you can go for ice-skating, to spend a nice day in one of Budapest's nicest thermal baths, other time of the year you can rent a bike and enjoy nature.
