Amazing cheese shop in Hyde Park. Approachable staff, plenty of samples for whatever you ask about, and in a great location with many local fave restaurants/bakeries/shops. (Quacks bakery, Mothers veggie restaurant, Asti modern Italian, Dolce Vita wine and cheese/dessert bar, Hyde Park Grill, etc., Fresh Plus grocery.)

Superb food, and oddly you can also do drive-thru (only in Austin). Solid menu, wine and beer.

Think of it like the carnival of food and music venues, with a little bit of everything and a superb, casual, laid back, whatever attitude. One of the best places to chill and drink a beer in Austin. Check out all the different venues WITHIN this venue. The ballroom is an indoor music venue, and there are also outdoor music stages. The inside is a loud restaurant/bar, the outside is a rambling restaurant (enter on Fruth Street) with great garden seating alongside their own tattoo parlor and several independent food trucks. Smaller outdoor seating near the ballroom entrance on 29th street with its own dedicated food truck.
