If you are in the mood for upscale Southern food, Lou's is your place. It's consistently good. They're chef is extremely talented. The restaurant also has a good, cozy vibe.

La Brioche is my go-to spot for coffee and a pastry. Bring a book and settle in. The pastries here are world class, no joke. The staff is always friendly and warm. Pick up a sleeve of colorful French macarons for a souvenir!

You can see alligators here! A short little trail goes around the swamp--very easy for children and older folks. It's peaceful and a very unique environment.
