Food is extremely good and service is friendly. Unless a typical Nordic design restaurant, the decor is a bit industrial. It's relaxed atmosphere with fine food, suitable for groups as well. I like the interesting mix! You can also go upstairs bar and order a few cocktails!

A must for chocolate addicts. Excellent place serving delicious locally made chocolates at the heart of one of Helsinki's oldest districts. Friendly service. Heavenly hot chocolate.

Place is usually quite packed so be patient, it's worth it! I don't have words to describe it. I haven't had a better sushi combination in Helsinki. Well prepared, just the right temperature and fresh sushi.

This restaurant is very popular and its usually fully loaded. I recommend to make a reservation. The food is organic, wholesome, unique, beautifully presented and delicious and the wait staff warm and down to earth. Try the sapas and one of their wonderful deserts. Eating out in Helsinki is not cheap and this restaurant is no exception.

This cafe is popular among tourists and locals alike. Regatta is a little, cozy sea cottage cafe that serves mainly coffee, cakes, and cinnamon buns. Regatta has a colorful exterior, but the inside of cafe looks more rustic and interesting, with quirky touches to its decor. This place is perfect to have a late, laid-back breakfast.
