This climb is NOT for the faint of heart. 400 rickety spiral steps that start off as wood then spiral outside into copper shiny stairs. But what a view when you do make it outside.

This park is beautiful and this is where the danes like to come and enjoy some free time and have a picnic. Lots of space and paths, an authentic non touristy park.

On Værnedamsvej there is also a takeaway/deli called Cofoco - they have excellent salads, desserts, snacks etc. which is definitely worth bringing on a gourmet picnic
