RDA is cooperative restaurant in a hidden garage. regularly holds bike repair workshops, capoeira classes, boxing etc. rather random schedules though... so bet on sunday afternoon: you can do your own pizzas and use the oven (dough provided, but buy your own ingredients such as the tomato base, cheese, ham etc.from the nearby "meu super" minimarket). you'll have to wash your dishes after the meal! the place is located on a lower-level street behind Banco de Portugal.

owner left Mozambique to Portugal in the 70's and brought East African and Indian flavours with him. food there is best appreciated spicy, with plenty of coconut milk, curry sauces and fried bananas! the restaurant is constantly looking for new recipes, and prices remain decent. one of my favourite spots around, especially when I'm hungry!
