Essentials
In Geneva even the stores close relatively early, at 19h with Thursdays being the only exception when shops are open until 21h. However there are two small grocery stores (Coop & Migros) at the train station open until 23h.

This is a FREE open air cinema in Geneva in July.

There is a lift that takes you up on Saleve or you can hike-up (it's not too difficult and takes 1,5h-2h) - there are few restaurants there, personally we recommend Observatoire, or bring your own picnic and enjoy the amazing view over Geneva. Easily accessible with bus number 8.
