One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in the city. The owner is importing everything from Italy and they make their own pasta. cash only but really affordable. Try the Lemonchello desert

was voted "best restaurant on the upper west side" - really great upscale Mediterranean/Spanish infused food with great drinks - try the "spicy fig lemonade" cocktail. They also have a cute little garden in the back, great for a romantic dinner.

This is one of my favorite places! A "Hidden Gem" right by the hudson River. Grab some lunch or early dinner here and sip on cold beer or a cocktail. you'll feel like you're on a vacation outside NYC. The easiest way to access this place is to walk on 83rd all the way west towards River side park and then make a left to west 79th street and enter the park that way. you'll see a long set of stone stairs, follow those right into the bar area of the Boat Basin Cafe. Enjoy!

Great Live music nightly, I myself am performing there often with my band "Keren & The Sugar Daddys". They never charge a cover and bring high quality live entertainment to the upper west side. Fun!

If you feel like venturing east, about 5 min cab ride, this is one of the best wine bars I've been to. Amazing food and great cocktails. They have live music on Mondays&Tuesdays.Try Julio's margarita!
