Small, warm & intimate, this is one of the best restaurants we know of. They offer garden seating under the grape arbor during the summer months. Dinner Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed New Year's to around Valentine's Day. Reservations are strongly suggested.

Dumb name (SoCal folks call freeways by "the") but enormous, flavorful sandwiches & wraps, tasty salads, lots of beers, homemade pastries and freshly roasted coffee are all winners.

Best little ski resort around! Dirt cheap compared with Tahoe and Mt. Bachelor, really good runs for all levels and extra-nice staff.

Really a kick to cruise, Raven Tree has a cool assortment of raven and other bird art, nature books and jewelry. The cards alone are worth investigating this shop. It has birdfeeders, bird food, toys and much more. Kids love the store as well as adults. It's located in the same shopping center as the theater and Solano's Hardware behind Black Bear Diner.
