Proctor Park Conservation Area

Just a mile or so by car to the front gates. There are 4 sand beaches on the Lake Ontario side, a marsh hiking boardwalk, and a biking trail.
The park also has information session throughout the year on various wildlife which pass through - migrating water fowl, warblers and wimbrels, butterfly tagging, etc.
