Bay Street behind River Street has more bars & a few more chain restaurants. 3 streets back fromthe river from Bay Street is the City Market between Barnard and Montgomery. More restaurants, restaurant/bars & shops with outdoor music in the market on weekends.Congress and MLK has a strip of bars. 3 blocks away from the river from City Market is Broughton Street. This is the largest retail and restaurant (and a few bars) street in the Historic Dist
