Fantastic sand park on the barrage , worth the walk, but if you like you can hire a bike or go cart from Pedal power to really make the most out of the barrage and it’s large cycle

Porth Teigr WayGreat for families. Large boating lake, lots of geese and swans to feed. Duck Food available from the boating house. Great little cafe on the waters edge to refuel.
Fab play park for the children and a little conservatory to discover the subtropics, feed the fish and turtles.

Most of your chain restaurants in a relaxed setting. Great for a relaxed evening/day.
Wagamama, Nando’s, Pizza express.. and one of the nicest weather spoons .. The Mount Stuart! 😅
Also some great independent pubs and coffee bars to break up a stroll around the bay.

Little out of the way, though worth a visit if you are foody lovers, Whitchurch road has some great independent restaurants , including two of my favourites, this one and Longa (Turkish cafe).
