It is about 100 km from the apartment, about 1 hour and 40 minutes. We suggest to visti this city if possible, you wake up very early and go there and one day trip is worth to visit the Castle, the museum, mosque, have some typical lunch or dinner , you will like this city.

Worth a visit if you have time, there are lot of videos and info on internet, but our suggestion is especially to go to the "UJI I FTOHTE" area where the water is beautiful, or visit way back the Zvernec Island with the beautiful church.. Vlora has a lot to offer, sometimes it seems like competitor to Durres but there are lot to say, just go there and enjoy your time.

About 20 min by car, once a time was the most popular frequented beach from people living in Durres, here you can find also the Hotel Adriatik which was open in the comunism area.

An amazing bio farm outside the noise of the city. We love this place, they have a restaurant with a delicious bio food which they produce on the land. Also animals which are treated very well. We suggest to spend 4-6 hours in this place and feel the fresh air of the village sorounded by hills with sea view.

Very nice place, incontaminated nature, about 1 hour drive from Durres, must visit the old church where Skanderbeg the Hero of Albania celebrated his wedding. Very unique place for nature lovers .

We strongly suggest our guests a day trip to the capital, tirana.
One of things to do is also a visit to Bunk´Art and Shtepia e Gjetheve.
Tirana has a lot to offer and is only 35 km from Durres, considering traffic and everything my take you 1 hour , keep in mind you can park directly on skanderbeg square, we really suggest you to do so, and from there just enjoy tirana by walk.
