World class nordic ski area which is 7 miles away from the house. Or ski there from the highland lodge nordic trails which can be accessed at the town hall at the bottom of baker hill rd. In the summer, it has a great network of mountain bike trails and Great Hosmer Lake is a sweet spot for a post-ride dip.
