It needs no introduction, this neo-gothic establishment is over 130years old and has so much charm. As a tip, even if is warm outside, the true spectacle of Caru cu Bere is the inside decor so it is best to dine indoors in order to truly appreciate the place.

If you truly want to feel the vibe of the city, you should visit a food market. Obor Market (Piata Obor) is not far from the city center. The Metro from Unirii Square takes you directly. Just make sure you visit on an empty stomach as good street food awaits you there. Micii de Obor (small Romanian sausages without case) at Terasa Obor are a must.

Free tours
Fantastic four hours tour to discover Bucharest's street art and murals. Even if you are not particularly interested in street art this tour will surprise you in the most positive way. Highly recommend!
