Ellanor C. Lawrence Park is located in Chantilly, Virginia, just north of Centreville, on Route 28. The park preserves the cultural and natural resources of western Fairfax County and has a long and complex history lasting 8,000 years.

Home to the Bull Run Festival of Lights, Bull Run Regional Park contains miles of scenic and historic hiking trails, including the trailhead for the 19.7 mile Bull Run Occoquan Trail. Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the museum in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of historically significant air- and spacecraft, along with thousands of small artifacts, are on display in an open, hangar-like setting. Other features of the Center include the Donald D. Engen Observation Tower, the Airbus IMAX Theater, and the Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar, where visitors can watch museum specialists at work restoring artifacts.

Nearby, the Tidal Basin reservoir is known for its blossoming cherry trees.
