Only 8 min away! Must see! Drive through safari, take a boat around the lake, see shows with animals performing and don't miss elephants going to a lake for a bath! There are fantastic splash areas for younger and older kids.

It is a great experience to see a collection of heritage Canadian houses. In the spring they collect maple syrup. Nice to take a horse wagon ride around. Very close to us.

Near by, this lake is great for swimming. You can rent kayak or canoe there. Lovely picnic area. Great sandy beach for kids. Don't miss a bakery on the opposite side from the entrance - they have the best pies!

You can reserve good meat ahead of time there, only two concessions south from us (549 Concession 5 W). Meat is always so tender and high quality. I always buy my beef lamb and pork there and have always noticed the difference in quality.
