Take bus 401 from Slussen and hop off at "Hellasgården". Walk 1 min to the lake, have a swim, buy icecream. Put on your trainers and hike around the lake. Go for a swim again. Very Swedish, very nice.

Lovely gardens! Stroll perfect both in summer and winter, a fantastic café. Tram 7 from Kungsträdgården, get off at Waldemarsudde. Open all year around. Simply fabulous!

Fabulous museum. Hallwyl House, built 1893-98 as a residence for the Count/Countess von Hallwyl, is the best preserved late 19th-century private palace in Stockholm. Interiors untouched since 1920!
