You can walk to Stanage from our house. It's lovely in any weather and there are easy ways to wander up as well of loads of climbs.

Fantastic gardens - especially when the sculpture exhibition is there. Farm shop and garden centre also worth a visit

Hire bikes and cycle around the reservoirs - fantastic views and only a 10 minute drive from our house. There is also a great wild swimming spot - Slippery Stones - halfway around.
Even if you don't fancy the cycling, it's a nice place for a stroll and a coffee.

Derwent Cycle Hire (Peak District National Park)
Derwent LaneHire bikes and cycle around the reservoirs - fantastic views and only a 10 minute drive from our house. There is also a great wild swimming spot - Slippery Stones - halfway around.
Even if you don't fancy the cycling, it's a nice place for a stroll and a coffee.
