This is more of a gastro pub, would recommend booking a table in order to avoid disappointment.
This pub is about a 10-15 minute walk through the village. You can walk past the church directly opposite until you arrive at the Mead, children's play area and the Seymour is over the road from the play park.

Sightseeing
The City of Wells is beautiful and The Bishops Palace is stunning. You have to pay for entrance to go around the grounds but if you like your history and are keen gardeners then it's worth the price. Alternatively you access the cafe for free.

Tyntesfield has stunning grounds to explore, as well as a gothic house. It is about a 30 minute drive from here.
