Another browsing option would be the to-go options on Værnedamsvej. Here you’ll find small spots serving delicious food. Helge’s Ost has all the cheese a heart can desire, while Otto’s and Dal Forno make some of the best pizza’s in town. This is also where you’ll find the before mentioned Gasoline Grill burgers. FYI: None of these spots have more than two-three seats for guests.

On a sunny day, go to the outdoor Café Riga on Lithauens Plaza. A wonderfully cute little spot with a selection of wines and beers. Grilled cheese on the menu too!

Your closest spot for quickly getting a glass of wine or perhaps a soda in the afternoon sun, would be Woodah on Abel Cathrines Gade. They have recently changed name, but on Maps, it still says Woodah.

Best coffee around is definitely Prolog just over at the Meat Packing District. When feeling snacky, get Prolog’s croissant to go along. It’s delicious.

Did you come to Copenhagen during one of those rare weeks of the year with great weather? Go for a quick swim down on Havneholmen (or Kalvebod Brygge), where locals swim from the piers. Getting there takes 5 min on bike.
