We are very lucky to have this place so very close by only a mile down the road . From here you can walk down by the river all the way to Withypool with its cafe , village shop and pub, or if you don't want to walk that far there is a circular walk that follows the river Barle around then back to enjoy the pleasures of Tarr farm Inn.
If this is to energetic just sit and enjoy a drink down the the steps .

If you needed a bigger shop this is where the supermarkets are and fuel stations .
You can meander down to the steam railway and from there take a lovely train journey to surrounding villages and explore .

West Somerset Coast PathMinehead has a lovely beach , loads of parking and plenty to do .

This beach is the best beach around here. It is about an hours drive from here but well worth the trip .
