Natural hot springs abound in the San Luis Valley; they are higher in lithium than most and offer fantastic relaxation. One of the three is clothing optional.
Joyful Journey, located in the flats of the valley, is open 9:30-10pm Monday-Thursday and 9:30-8 Friday-Sunday and is not clothing optional.

Valley View is a beautiful clothing optional hot springs with a sauna, large outdoor pool, smaller pools, and even a couple natural pools that are only hike-accessible up the mountain.

Monarch boasts the closest downhill skiing to Crestone. It caters to all abilities from hike to extreme skiing to the beginner skier. The resort is also super family oriented. Monarch is a smaller but legitimate ski area.

Wolf Creek is an hour and a half away from Crestone. On average, Wolf Creek Ski Area gets the most snow in all of Colorado! Bring your fatties. ❄️ It is not a great beginner’s mountain much of the year.
