One of my favorite things to do with my children. It’s only a 25 minute drive from the house. Lots of exotic animals. Not to big, not too small, with a splash pad for the kids to cool off.

Beach Spots
I love the beach!! Her are a few of my favorites.
Peanut Island has it all. Take a ferry over or take a paddleboard from Phil Foster Park if you’re up for a challenge. There’s snorkeling, clear water a beautiful hike around the island and boat watching to enjoy! Fish off the pier or just lounge in the Crystal Waters. One of my family’s go to beaches!

A bit of a drive but an intracoastal nature center and hike with net finds such as sea urchin and sponges. The beach is on the other side of the highway with an amazing rock formation for all to explore.
