If you like Tex Mex this is the spot. Inexpensive but great food... margaritas too. Loads of seating.
PS: the guy who lives in the adjacent townhouse is the owner, so be on your best behavior.

Amazing "Detroit" style pizza just around the corner. It's a trailer, so call ahead and walk to pick it up. Bonus: they have Gluten Free pizza too...if that matters to you.

I'd have to say this is the best burger joint in Austin. They have a few locations but this is closest to the house. Don't let the long line scare you, it moves fast. And you can drink while waiting.
