The Base is where it's at for craft cocktails and a fun night. Great DJ's most night. Fun atmosphere - it's small and it gets packed so try and arrive early-ish. It's located at the base of a residential apartment building but easy to find.

Visit the Berlangas - These islands sit 10 kms offshore and it's one of those things you simply have to do in Peniche.
The archipelago is a natural reserve, with a colony of puffins and rich marine life in the water.
There are regular ferries across from Peniche as well as companies that will take you in smaller boats.
At the end of our peninsula is mainland Portugal’s westernmost point to be found north of Cabo da Roca or Cabo Carvoeiro.
Extraordinary at sunset, it’s a majestic cape with 25-metre cliffs that have cool rock formations on the top and faces a limestone stack of rocks, the Nau dos Corvos (Ship of Crows). On the horizon you can spot the Berlengas Archipelago.

At the end of our peninsula is mainland Portugal’s westernmost point to be found north of Cabo da Roca or Cabo Carvoeiro.
Extraordinary at sunset, it’s a majestic cape with 25-metre cliffs that have cool rock formations on the top and faces a limestone stack of rocks, the Nau dos Corvos (Ship of Crows). On the horizon you can spot the Berlengas Archipelago.

Even though it’s a touristy area Peniche has a healthy fishing industry, and to see this is in action you should come to the harbour when the fleet returns and unloads its catch on the quay.
Also nice for a walk around with lots of restaurants nearby.

Obidos is a quick 26-min drive from Consolacao (highway). It's one of the loveliest historic town in Portugal. Streets filled with whitewashed houses with fun artisan shops and restaurants. The castle remains are gorgeous and so fun to explore. Great photo-ops here.
Don't forget to have a shot of Ginjinha de Obidos. It's a traditional cherry based liquor made with aguardente. Delicious with chocolate.

Praia D'el Rey Golf & Beach Resort is fantastic for golfers. It's an 18-hole, 7.100 yard golf course right on the beach. They offer rentals and lessons as well as a driving range and putting green.
