15 minutes drive from Casa Aburi is the Peduase Valley Resort. A bit of a hidden gem in Aburi. The architecture is gorgeous and a great place to enjoy a Sunday or Saturday brunch. Their buffet and music entertainments on weekends is lit! They have a huge inviting pool and a fantastic zoo.

15 minutes drive from Casa Aburi is the Peduase Valley Resort. A bit of a hidden gem in Aburi. The architecture is gorgeous and a great place to enjoy a Sunday or Saturday brunch. Their buffet and music entertainments on weekends is lit! They have a huge inviting pool and a fantastic zoo.

A must see if you visit a Aburi. It could be better maintained but its charming and inviting for outdoor games and picnics. Its about 20min drive from Casa Aburi. There is a small entrance fee.

Its not as big as the Accra Arts and Craft Market, but the Aburi market has all the elements and is even more relaxed. There is a variety of wood works, clothing, shoes, bags, home ware, etc.

The Aburi town is quite charming. In some ways, it feels a bit frozen in time. There are some very old colonial buildings and lots of old churches. The narrow streets and shops along these streets give some nostalgic feeling. You will find several palm wine sellers along the main Aburi road. It goes so well with a boiled egg and pepper (typical Ghanaian) snack. Boiled or roasted corn or boiled peanuts are typical street foods in this area.
