The Montague Markets are located opposite the property and are awesome! There is everything you could need from Woolworths, Pharmacy, BWS, restaurants, coffee shop, massage, hair dresser and barber. The Italian restaurant Voglia is absolutely delicious! Ample seating but they do not require reservations. Open for daily and for dinner Thu, Fri and Sat nights.

A fabulous little spot just down the street where you'll mix with locals while enjoying breakfast or lunch and a great coffee! Great value for money!

A fabulous pub just 1 block walk from the apartment that is always full with locals and their pooches! Cheapest cocktails around and good pub food. Live entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings I think. Very festive!

Fellons Brewery is a hugely popular and busy brewery located under the beautiful Story Bridge! Social, scenic, on the river, great pub food.
There are quite a few lovely and upmarkets restaurants next to it on the river including Mr Percivals. A favourite for cocktails

A must visit for anyone coming to Brisbane. Southbank has wonderful walks, restaurants, pubs, markets on the weekends, a beach and kid / toddler friendly paddling pools. You can get there walking from the unit, approximately 1/2 hour. You can hire a scooter or bike ( see my details on Neuron and Beam) and there is the City Glider Bus - 3 stops in 5 minutes (see my details on the City Glider)

South Bank
A must visit for anyone coming to Brisbane. Southbank has wonderful walks, restaurants, pubs, markets on the weekends, a beach and kid / toddler friendly paddling pools. You can get there walking from the unit, approximately 1/2 hour. The Brisbane Botanical Gardens are just a lovely walk, especially along the river. Many places to sit and relax enroute. There is a part that takes you along the river through the mangroves. The Queen Street Mall in the heart of Brisbanes city is the place to go to shop! There are also historical arcades off the mall that are worth the walk though to enjoy their heritage!
Queens Plaza Mall is the place to go for all of your upmarkets brands including Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, David Jones and more.
Jimmy's in the middle of the mall is a great place to rest your shopping feet with a cold drink or lunch.

If you're looking for an alternative way to get around or just want to cruise the Brisbane River, jump on one of our City Cat Ferries at numerous locations to enjoy the view and get around! Well worth it!

Scooters, Bikes, City Glider bus, Uber
Download the app for Beam and Neuron. Beam have purple scooters and bikes all over West End and the surrounding areas including the city. Neuron are the same but orange. The bikes have battery boosters - helpful with hills!
The City Glider bus departs outside Aldi (2 block walk) on Montague Street. In 3 stops you will be at the beginning of Southbank, next to the Performing Arts Centre, Museum and Goma! One more stop and you are in the city in Queen Street Mall.
Uber is also a very easy and popular way to get around.
And last but by no means least, we have our Brisbane City Cat ferries!
