A famous market and a must-see, no matter the length of your trip. Not only is it Seattle's most visited landmark (impressive for a market, right?), but it's also a great place for foodies to indulge in tasty grub. https://www.pikeplacemarket.org/

Founded in 1933, the Seattle Art Museum owns approximately 24,000 works spread over three separate facilities. In SAM’s main building in downtown Seattle, you’ll find the museum’s collections of ethnic, modern and contemporary art. The cornerstone of the contemporary holdings is the Wright Collection, which comprises more than 200 works, and documents such major art movements as Abstract Expressionism, Pop, Minimalism, and Light and Space. The museum’s renowned Asian art collection is housed in its original Art Deco building in Capitol Hill, while the nine-acre waterfront Olympic Sculpture Park shows off monumental contemporary sculptures by the likes of Calder and Serra, and spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. www.seattleartmuseum.org

A unique visual experience, the Chihuly Garden and Glass showcases the epic work of Northwest glass artist Dale Chihuly with a series of mind- and glass-blowing indoor and outdoor installations. The Seattle Great Wheel, on Pier 57, is one of the largest of its kind in North America and gondolas are fully enclosed for rain-or-shine rides. The views from Seattle’s 175-foot-high Ferris wheel more than compensate for its corniness. From the top you’ll enjoy a grand panorama of the city, the Pacific Ocean and—if you’re lucky—the Olympic Mountains Buy Tickets here: https://seattlegreatwheel.com/

Poo Poo Point is a small knoll on a shoulder of West Tiger Mountain. The folksy name is a reference to the steam whistle sounds heard throughout the Tigers in the early days of logging. More recently, around the 1970s, the area around Poo Poo Point was logged by its then owners, Weyerhaeuser Corporation. The result is a large clear area used now as a launching pad by paragliders who generally backpack their lightweight gear up the Chirico Trail. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/poo-poo-point
