The 'Gentleman Jack' TV series has now made it internationally popular but its size lets it retain an intimate atmosphere. The outbuildings have been turned into traditional artisans' workshops and a horse-carriage museum. The park and lake offer a good range of activities and amenities. The mini-golf and the permanent dry-walling exhibition are our favourites.

Go for a walk around, setting off from the coach house. You can use the book 'The Villas of Edgerton' by David Griffiths, available from numerous bookselling sites, as a guide and for background reading beforehand.
