No visit to Kiama is complete without a trip to the Blowhole. It's an easy walk of around 30 minutes along the beach and coast from the apartment

Kiama and surrounds has an active food scene and caters to all tastes and budgets. There are many more wineries and breweries than those listed here. This is just a taster. Go forth and explore!
For a change of scene, why not jump in the car and head to historic Berry, a mecca for those looking for great food, curios and antiques as well as the HUGE new adventure playground

Another hip beach town with great shopping, including the widely known Natural Necessity Surf Shop - Australia's largest single doorway surf shop and Perfect Break Cafe. Why not consider a hike between Minnamurra and Gerringong then jump on the train back to Kiama? It's a 6.5 hour trip with amazing scenery. If that's a little ambitious, the trail can be broken into three shorter walks

Named for the basalt sand and cobbles along the shore, this beach is right in the centre of town and popular with snorkelers. It is right opposite the Harbour. There are also ocean water swimming pools here. Did I mention it's right in the centre of town?
