Why not dander down to a little known secret? The Assosciation of Norwegian Sculptors has a simply wonderful garden, filled with sculptures of different kinds. Pack some lunch or breakfast and stop by on your walk down to the city.

The Opera is a must see! Plus, I have worked though so I am kinda soft for it. Go there, walk on top of it, admire the fjord. Be sure to use the toilets as they are amazing!
