Can't forego this one. In Seattle Center, experience what an artist can create with Glass, it is beautiful and worth the slightly spendy fee to get it. Dale Chihuly talks via video about his work.

Jump on right across the Montlake Cut at the University, and ride either direction - nice bike path, go at your own pace. Riding north takes you through neighborhoods, UW with lake views along the way

Great walking, check the web for latest features. Japanese Garden is pretty, and really nice walking throughout. Easy 1/2 mile walk East on Boyer - head over to waters edge, lily pads, beavers & more
