Little town with big views, river adventures, mountain bike trails, hiking, fishing, atv/dirtbiking, it even has a gorgeous lake with a beach. Amazing art and dining not to mention lots of beer.

This is called The Million Dollar Highway and it is absolutely one of the most gorgeous drives you'll ever embark upon. It is a little scary in places with big drops and no guardrails. But worth the drive.

It's just so gorgeous.
Montrose Water Park is on the Uncompahgre River and is so much fun. You can kayak, tube, surf, or just watch. It's located at River Bottom park which also has a great skate park, play ground, ball fields, trails, pic nic areas etc.
