Founded in 1918, Domilise’s may not look like much from the outside, yet over the past century, it has become an institution. Though one of the more expensive po-boy options, they’re worth it. If you’re lucky, you may even see one of the many local politicians and celebrities that are known to frequent this spot. With its early closing times, we recommend this for lunch.

Runners and walkers, Audubon Park has a 1.8 mile paved path with exercise stations (pull-up bars, push-up bars etc) as well as a slightly longer dirt path.
For those looking for a longer run or additional sights, tucked behind the Audubon Zoo, on the other side of Magazine St is the The Fly. This waterfront portion of the park is a great spot to relax, hang out, toss a frisbee and watch the sun set.
